老板为什么是老板：

I dunno, I feel like I spend virtually no time on meaningless tasks. I spend the absolute minimum required to get it done. 95% of my time is spent on classroom teaching, graduate education, grant writing (which I enjoy and don’t see as a chore since it helps organize thoughts), research, and professional service. I do feel stressed a lot but that part I brought on myself 

A long time ago, when I started at CMU, Bob Kraut told me that the trick to success as an academic was being really really good at triage so that all time is spent wisely. I’ve always taken that to heart, and I try to pass this along to my students (and help them figure out the triaging). If anyone is at a school where “jargon laden documents about students’ learning outcomes” or “committee white papers” influence tenure decisions, they might want to consider moving.

昨天给朋友做被试，被fast forward过的视频简直让人身心不适= = 尤其是声音被快进后完全没法听，由此我隐nao约dong回da忆kai，是不是听觉系统跟小脑有些联系，身体平衡被破坏自然头晕。想到自己竟然这么机智（…），大二时候上过的bio psych和perception的内容竟还能活学活用，立刻觉得身心舒畅。

然而我今天放狗搜了一下午，确认了一个事实：只是我自己开脑洞了而已………当年就是一个B一个C还能指望今天回想起来简直做梦…………

不过，也确实，想把psych的东西重新捡回来了。
